The technology
The Wireless protocol we favour at Kodus is known as Z-Wave – associated products work together to form a wireless network (mesh network) in your home so they can talk to the controller, each other and pass messages along the chain, ensuring reliabaility and minimal interference from other wireless signals.
At times we have to adopt other technology in order to supply you with the best products we can, these include WiFi, bluetooth and the Zigbee protocol. They all work in the same way and talk to the central hub but obviously the frequencies are a lot more congested due to popularity.
